extravaGONZO Gourmet Foods to Launch Asian Flavored Culinary Oil
Summer Fancy Food Show -- Booth #5661
Cook, Drizzle, Splash and Pour with Reckless Abandon™

Boise, ID (June 30, 2018) – Tom Stevens has done it again. After 2 long years in his test kitchen, Stevens has finally perfected his fifth flavor -- Asian –a new addition to his growing family of artisan culinary oils. Asian will be introduced at the 2018 Summer Fancy Food show at the Jacob Javits Center.

“Toasted sesame seed oil is one of my favorite flavors, so I decided to combine it with extra virgin olive oil, red chili and orange, says Stevens. “It is perfect on seafood, finishing oil for stir fry, drizzled on salads, rice and noodles, and roasted or sautéed veggies and green beans. This is top of the mark for anything Asian.  It adds pizzazz to anything you eat. The culinary possibilities are endless. For a special treat I grill pineapple with it.  Imagination is the only limit. It is the perfect fusion of flavor.”

Asian is available in 6.8oz and 12.7oz sizes with a suggested retail price of $13.99 and $19.99, respectively.

The extravaGONZO collection includes: Meyer Lemon, Blood Orange, Jalapeno Lime, and Roasted Garlic, and Tom’s white and red balsamic, are blended with Tom’s special recipe in Modena, Italy.

Last year ExtravaGONZO Gourmet Foods was presented with a prestigious Sofi Award for Stevens’ unique Jalapeño Lime blend. It was selected by a national panel of 62 specialty food experts from 3,000 entries across 39 categories.

About extravaGONZO

The story of extravaGONZO is almost as tasty as the company's products. Founder and foodie Tom Stevens worked in a variety of careers: USDA Forest Service, lumber broker, taxi driver, insurance salesman, real estate broker and more. The avid cook accidentally embarked on his culinary career in Boise, Idaho during Thanksgiving 2006. He realized the store bought roasted garlic oil he'd been using for many years just wasn't doing it for him anymore. He had an idea how to improve the process and gave it a try. Stevens made two gallons of roasted garlic oil on the kitchen stove and sent it off to family and friends. Everyone loved it which inspired him to develop it further. Shortly thereafter, he was driving around the country in his pickup truck selling oils at farmers markets and mom and pop shops. extravaGONZO now sells in top chains such as Central Market in Texas, and in select Fred Meyer and Albertson’s locations. In 2017, Stevens was presented with a prestigious Sofi Award for his Jalapeno Lime blend.   Visit: www.extravagonzofoods.com.
