St Michel and Donsuemor exhibit the largest line of madeleines in the industry
A household name in France, St Michel, and US-based Donsuemor showcase product at the Summer Fancy Food Show

ALAMEDA, Calif. (June 2018) –– St Michel, the French-based parent company of Donsuemor, and Donsuemor, the original U.S. baker of madeleines, are showcasing the largest line of madeleines available to North American consumers at the Summer Fancy Food Show (SFFS).

“The madeleine is an everyday staple in the French home,” said Laure Chatard, Sales & Marketing Director of Donsuemor. “These little shell-shaped cakes are as ubiquitous in France as the chocolate chip cookie is in the U.S., but vastly more romantic. There is no passport needed to experience a treat like an authentic French madeleine.”

St Michel will highlight its renowned madeleine lineup including the shelf-stable almond-flavored Classic Madeleines, as well as the Mini Madeleines in both Classic and Chocolate Chip flavors. Additionally, St Michel has baked up something new! They will be tasting their line of frozen, heat-and-eat madeleines in flavors like Citrus Mandarin, Crème Brulée and Honey & Muesli Grain.

St Michel Madeleines are the most recognized madeleine brand in France and are typically enjoyed for breakfast or snacking. St Michel will also showcase their other imported products which include classic French treats such as Grandes Galettes, a crisp butter cookie made with sea salt from Guérande, and Caramel Palmier cookies, a delicate pretzel-shaped cookie glazed with caramelized sugar.

Donsuemor’s madeleine lineup includes their Traditional, Chocolatey Dipped and Lemon Zest Madeleines, and the returning seasonal favorite, Pumpkin Spice Madeleines—projected to surpass last year’s sales by more than 40 percent this holiday season. Pumpkin Spice Madeleines arrive on retailers’ shelves in early Sept. through late Dec. Donsuemor will also showcase their other French-inspired treats like Vanilla Bean or Cinnamon Chocolate Sablés, and French Almond Cakes.
