Today, just in time for the Summer Fancy Food Show, we are proud to announce that we are once again expanding our smoking capacity and capabilities to deliver more than One Million Pounds per year of smoked salts for our customers (and their customers).
Never artificially flavored, all our smoked and smoked bacon selections are handcrafted and slow smoked to assure freshness and a delicious taste for all cuisines. We start with the purest of sea salt bases in a variety of coarse and grain sizes, free of any anti-caking agents or chemical processes or additives. We then use bark-free woods – including Alderwood, Applewood, Cherrywood, Hickory and Mesquite among others - to slow smoke for several days in order to achieve the perfect taste, flavor and aroma. It is all part of our commitment to deliver only the highest quality specialty salts to our customers.
Unlike many common salts, smoked salts require additional precision, meticulous conditions and care. By investing and increasing our capacity, we can turn around large orders more quickly and with the highest quality allowing us to better serve our bulk, private label, food service and food manufacturing customers.
