June 24, 2017 - The mind-bogglingly delicious recipes coming out of Innocent Chocolate® don’t happen by accident. They happen by design, many of which have been influenced by the finely tuned mind and taste buds of Chocolatier and Chef Purmessur (Chef P to all that know him).
A native of Mauritius, Chef P has perfected and elevated the arts of pastries AND CHOCOLATES in Mauritius, Mexico, Jamaica, New Caledonia, Dominican Republic, United States, and the Bahamas. You might’ve tasted the incredible fruits of his labors at Mauritius’ Saint Géran or Victoria Hotels, at Beaches Negril or Turks & Caicos, Club Med, Parrot Cay, or Sandals Resorts International, where he supervised 20 pastry departments in five countries, all while guiding 200 aspiring pastry chefs. Perhaps that’s why Chef P is also known as Ninja.
Understandably, we’re proud to welcome him back on the Innocent Chocolate® team. The recipient of many awards, Chef P will be opening our first international facility in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. He will get it up and running and manage this new facility for three to six months, then come to our new production facility in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. Once he joins us at our headquarters, he’ll help finalize the recipes of several new Innocent Chocolate® products that are set to release late in 2017 and early 2018. So get ready for even more healthy dark chocolate treats coming your way.
