Rigoni di Asiago’s sofi Award-Winning Chocolate Hazelnut Spread at Fancy Food
Organic Nocciolata Dairy Free is Palm-Oil Free and Made Only with the Finest Ingredients

Miami, Fla., June 2017 – Rigoni di Asiago—Italian producers of organic honeys, fruit spreads, and chocolate-hazelnut spreads—will be showcasing their products at this year's Summer Fancy Food Show from June 25 through 27 at the Javits Center in New York City. Available for sampling at Booth #1553 will be their decadent, palm-oil free Nocciolata and Nocciolata Dairy Free spreads. The sofi Awards named Nocciolata Dairy Free this year’s Best New Product award in the Nut Butter, Seed Butter Category. You won’t want to miss it!

Last year, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) warned that contaminants in palm oil raise potential health concerns across the board, causing a number of manufacturers in Italy to remove the oil from their products.

While some of the more popular chocolate hazelnut spreads have resisted the change, Rigoni di Asiago has never used palm oil in their products. Instead, Rigoni di Asiago’s Nocciolata spreads are made with cold-pressed sunflower oil, which is both better for health and environmentally-responsible.

Made with organic ingredients completely free of GMO's, preservatives, colors, additives, or artificial sweeteners, Nocciolata combines hazelnuts, cocoa and cocoa butter, natural vanilla extract, raw cane sugar, and skimmed milk for a chocolate-hazelnut spread. It also contains far less sugar than other brands and is free from hydrogenated fats. Nocciolata Dairy Free contains no milk and is certified vegan.
