June 26, 2017 - Kfar Kana (Cana) and New York City - Sindyanna of Galilee is very proud to launch its latest exceptional line of socially responsible olive oils at the Fancy Food Show in NYC June 25-27, 2017. Our premium quality fair-trade extra virgin olive oils, direct from the hills of the Galilee region in Israel, are already being sold at Whole Foods and at selected stores in the US.
The line continues our tradition of producing award-winning olive oils, while emphasizing the parallel stories of women’s empowerment and of children’s hopes and dreams. The labels of our new line illustrate these ideas by incorporating the drawings of our team’s children, which convey a highly positive and empowering message of peace, unity and hope.
As a non-profit organization led by a team of Israeli Jewish and Arab women, we believe that working together can make life taste that much better. Through the handmade production of pure olive oil, the women of Sindyanna are inspired every day to be agents of change, building bridges between divided communities, setting a positive example for our children, and promoting peace for future generations.
While at the Fancy Food Show, we will be unveiling our latest video which showcases the process of creating the look & feel for our new bottles, with an amazing group of Arab and Jewish children who drew the pictures that became the basis of the new designs.

Sindyanna’s other fair trade products include za’atar spice mixes, carob syrup, almonds, honey, olive oil soaps. Our Za’atar spice mix is produced in a traditional way from shade-dried leaves that are grown in the Galilee by Arab farmers, using a unique recipe that adds high quality roasted sesame seeds, sea salt, sumac and olive oil to the ground Za’atar leaves (the hyssop of the Bible).
