Top-selling brand offers gluten-free snacks inspired by fall and winter:
Orchard Apple Caramel Corn, Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn and Double Chocolate Caramel Corn
WAUKEGAN, IL – June 16, 2016 – G.H. Cretors announces three seasonal flavors including Orchard Apple Caramel Corn, Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn and Double Chocolate Caramel Corn to celebrate the delicious flavors of the seasons. The company will be sampling these and newly introduced Organic Dill Pickle, Organic Chile Jalapeño White Cheddar and Blueberry Lemon flavors at the Summer Fancy Foods Show in New York City, June 26-28 at booth #2456.
The creative duo behind the obsessively delicious combinations of popcorn flavors is the mother-daughter team of Phyllis and Claire Cretors. The pair remains committed to using simple, real ingredients with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. All products are gluten-free and certified Kosher.
“These artisanal favorites were offered last year and are back by popular demand. We think this trio of flavors elevates snacking by including high-quality ingredients such as real apple slices, whole hand-roasted nuts, real pumpkin and handcrafted, buttery caramel. We are proud of the quality and quantity of ingredients we've combined with our already popular caramel corn,” says Claire Cretors, President of Cornfields, Inc., which makes G.H. Cretors Popped Corn.
The Limited Edition collection includes three flavors inspired by ingredients synonymous with the changing seasons. Orchard Apple Caramel Corn is sweet and tart, combining caramel corn with large slices and pieces of real granny smith and red Fuji apples. Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn rings in October’s pumpkin spice craving with real pumpkin, whole pumpkin seeds, large walnut pieces and an autumn-inspired spice blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves. Double Chocolate Caramel Corn is a delightful blend of decadent white and dark chocolate coupled with whole almonds and cashews.
“We want to celebrate all of the great flavors fall and winter have to offer with our fresh, seasonal ingredients,” says Cretors. “These special flavors are perfect not only for snacking, but for gifting, entertaining, and being the most popular guest at your next party!”
Each of these flavors incorporates G.H. Cretors' classically-delicious caramel popped corn, which is made the old-fashioned way: by hand, in copper kettles. Cane sugar, brown rice syrup (a non-GMO alternative to corn syrup) and creamy butter are heated over a flame to develop a rich, complex flavor. Freshly popped popcorn is then hand-mixed with the caramel to ensure each kernel is perfectly coated with buttery caramel. Like all G.H. Cretors popped corn varieties, the Limited Edition flavors are made with all-natural ingredients completely free of GMOs, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives and are gluten-free and kosher.
The Limited Edition flavors will be available in 8-ounce bags for an MSRP of $5.99 and will be available in natural food and mainstream grocery stores in September. Visit www.ghcretors.com/shop for more information.
