Allie is excited to return to the Javits Center after having won "First Runner Up" in "The Peoples Choice Award" for New Products in March 2016 in this same venue at The International Restaurant and Food Service Show with her amazing Mint Melties.
Allie's GF Goodies is a certified gluten free and certified kosher bakery specializing in creative desserts and baked treats that are free of ingredients containing potential allergens; no gluten, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, coconut or sesame. They also accommodate soy free and egg free allergies. Allie's GF Goodies are a favorite among many hip hop legends, including; Fat Joe, Snoop Dog, Bizzy Bone (of Bone Thugs & Harmony), IYAZ and Steve Lobel. "I believe in small frequent batches over large industrial ones like in machine run factories. It might make my products cost a dollar or two more than the supermarket brand, but you are getting products that were actually baked by people, not machines. I employ people to do the work, thus creating more jobs. This is very important to me, as I always want to create something special and wonderful for people to eat."
She added: "In my bakery, the largest mixer is a 20 quart mixer, and we tend to only use that for cookie doughs and breads. Gluten-free batters tend to need more coddling than those with, and gluten free and nut free even more so because the flours aren't as sturdy."
In January 2016 Allie made the decision to convert what was a kosher dairy facility into a kosher pareve, or free from dairy, facility. She states "it was an enormous undertaking both in the cleaning and sterilization and expense wise, but in the end we removed one more harmful allergen and thus made a safer environment."
For Allie and the entire Allie's GF Goodies staff, the safety and wellbeing of the customer is always the most important part of their baking process.
